Redskins...

Joey was in full Redskin's gear for the game on Sunday. Atleast they won!

Thanksgiving Parade

We headed downtown to catch the parade. It was cold out... but we couldn't have been as cold as the girls in tights!

Alpaca Farm

Joey spent the weekend with GranMommie and PopPop and had a blast. On Saturday they visited an Alpaca Farm and Joey got to lead an Alpaca around the farm... I think this one is named Buster. Matt and I got to enjoy a weekend in Jersey to witness the Greely wedding. It was a blast... and I was definitely not alone with atleast 5 other preggers there... it was hularious. People were nervous about drinking the water:)

Joey's little sister...

Well... here is the latest picture of Joey's little sister coming later this winter. She is not camera shy at all and seems to always face the ultrasound technician(which makes it hard to get a profile shot)... we have had plenty of opportunity though... this is the 4th ultrasound! She's doing great so far:)

Sunday naps???

Okay... this shot makes me think... I wonder why they bother watching football at all? Just kidding. Since Joey has been getting older it has been tougher and tougher to get him to nap. On this day we gave up and let him watch football with Da.

Butler's Orchard

We had a great time this morning at the pumpkin patch. There were hayrides, tractors, mazes, animals and more. Joey had a great time with his little buddies and even got to pick another pumpkin... hopefully we will be able to keep this one away from those darn squirrels... who would have thought they like pumpkins so much!

Back to Wings of Fancy

Today we visited the Butterfly gardens again! The weather is just amazing right now and it was great to have something fun to do outside... you know other than have Joey, "mow grass". Which he is quite fond of doing. We also got a chance to go into the Nature Center today. Joey had lots of fun looking at the turtles with Sam and also making tornadoes with the bottles they had there. We are looking forward to going back for a more structured activity in the future!

Making Applesauce

PopPop and Joey went to pick apples on Saturday(Yes... it was raining on Saturday. PopPop is such a tropper! He had Joey in one arm and an umbrella in the other). Well we were all pretty busy for the remainder of Saturday, but on Sunday morning GranMommie and Joey made applesauce together. It was delicious. In the picture where Joey is squinting I asked him to smile for the camera. I guess he knows he has to do something with his face... but just not what yet.

Just like PopPop

Well... as many of you already know, Joey is OBSESSED with his PopPop. Here is evidence. He had to do everything that his PopPop was doing this morning. Thank goodness I had packed an orange shirt. We would have been in trouble otherwise.

Mountgomery County Fair

Joey and I had a great time at the fair this morning. We saw PLENTY of cows, sheeps, pigs, goats, rabbits and chickens. The cows made Joey a little nervous. I think he expected them to be a bit smaller than they were. There were even John Deer tractors and Diggers for everyone to climb on. Joey was pretty excited about that... as anyone who has seen Joey in the past month would guess. The fair also had free tractor rides! And I am also happy to report that I was able to keep Joey up the entire way home... so he is happily snoozin' away in his room:)

July 28th - The park with Meghan

On the 28th we went to visit the Gray's! I do have to say that the parks in Thurmont ROCK! Meghan and Joey had a blast on this playground. They were there for about 2 hours and I think they would have stayed longer if we would have let them, but alas it was nap time. There is a picture in here of Meghan feeding Joey an orange slice... what a little mama! They were so cute together and we are hoping to get together some time soon.

July 17th

Okay - this hand, foot and mouth thing is beyond me and Joey. Today(well the 17th... I am bit behind incase you couldn't tell) we even went as far as getting the finger paints out. Joey was feeling much better at this point, but his pesky fever wouldn't go away. Finally by the weekend it was gone so we were able to visit with everyone in Lancaster. Don't worry - we were able to remove all the extra paint by that time... there was no blue hair at the picnic.

Sunset Serenades at the National Zoo

Joey's 2nd Birthday

Holy Crap... Joey is 2! How amazing. Joey officially turned 2 last Friday. On Saturday in the morning we went to the zoo with Nana, DeDa, Uncle Anthony and Andrea, and Aunt JoJo, Ray and Katyln. IT WAS HOT! But Joey and Katyln seemed to enjoy the animals. GranMommie and PopPop joined us back at the house for some burgers, hotdogs and some birthday brownies:) Joey blew out the candles all by himself(I wonder what he wished for!)

Corolla, North Carolina

We had a great time in Corolla this past week. The whole 'Curran' side of the family was there. The guys went fishing, Joey loved digging in the sand and Nan and Albert had a wedding ceremony. There wasn't a thing missing. By the way... the wedding ceremony on the beach seemed the way to go... little to no stress:) You'll just have to catch my Uncle Greggie to help out with that one!

Hanging out in the backyard

The heat has been incredible lately. Joey and I watered the flowers and hung out in his little pool to try to beat it yesterday. He thought it was pretty funny when he took his hat off and started to get his hair wet. I think he thought he was washing his hair.

Memorial Day Picnic

It was great to see everyone Sunday and it looks as though all the little onces got along well.

Book Signing

On the 23rd we went to Orchard Grove and D's Uncle was doing a book signing for the book he just published, Buried Treasure! It was great to see everyone and once Joey gets warmed up he LOVES playing with all the kids during dismissal:)

I'm a slacker!

Okay - I am such a slacker that I don't even remember the date of this one:) Da and Joey are painting a Joey train!!!! Fun for all.

Toy box

It is much more fun to take all of the toys out of the toy box and sit in it, then to just take a couple of toys out and play with them!

At Ms. Rachel's house

Joey always seems to make himself at home at Rachel's house... you can just see the look in his eyes... he is trying to fool us that he won't get into any trouble!
