Smithsonian Museum of Natural History

Erin and I took Joey and Gavin to check out the Insect Exhibit at the Musuem of Natural History today. Thank goodness we went with Erin - we may have never made it there with out her Metro expertise! We even got to see a tarantula eat a cricket - well I did... Joey was more interested in climbing through the termite tunnel! We loved the buterfly dome... Joey would squeal with delight when a buterfly fly near us. He was hoping that one would land on his hand... but the buterflies were smart and were just out of reach of Joey.

Sunday Night/Monday Morning at Gee and PopPop's

Joey and I drove to see GrandMommie and PopPop on Sunday and put daddy to work:( No fun for daddy... but he did get sooooooooooo much work done! After playing basketball and in the sandbox Joey played with one of his favorite indoor ball toys. Monday morning he woke up with crazy hair... PopPop was hysterical with this bowl on his head... anything PopPop does is hularious!

Kaitlyn's 2nd Birthday

Well....... after waiting two hours at the doctor's office this morning we found out Joey had an ear infection...... hmmmm.... I guess that is why he wanted to party all night long last night:) Well a little motrin and antibiotics in him and he is ready to celebrate Kaitlyn's 2nd Birthday in Baltimore. Joey had a blast helping Kaitlyn open all of her presents and chasing the bubbles her daddy(Ray) was blowing! I am sure that Kaityln's Uncle Nick did not intentionally buy a present for Joey - BUT he LOVED the ballpit that Kaitlyn got and she was very good at sharing all of her goodies. Can't wait for more playdates... also at the party baby Nolan, who is sure to give Joey a run for his money some day soon!

Another Day at the Coffield Center

Today we headed back to the gym and then onto hear Mr. Don jam out at Mayorga. As you can see Joey was very excited because we borrowed a ball from the office... this is special:)

February 19th, Nana's Birthday

Joey and Mommy took Nana to the Glen Echo Puppet Show yesterday morning to celebrate her birthday. As you can see Joey had plenty of fun running up and down the aisle right beside the puppet show. He almost made it the whole way through. Next time we might try the 10:30 show - maybe Joey won't have so many wiggles!

Bay Weekend (February 16th and 17th)

When we got to the bay on Friday it was so nice out that we went down to the water to dig in the sand. We tried again on Saturday, but it was so much colder we could only stay for a little. We had a great relaxing weekend!

Gwendolyn E. Coffield Community Center

Today we checked out the Coffield Open Gym - even though we were the only ones there Joey did get some shooting practice in:) They have an awesome outdoor playground as well.
